Women Learn How to Achieve Work/Life Balance and “Have it All”

ATLANTA— In honor of Women’s Equality Day, Maidkart – the leading green house cleaning company – will host a live Facebook event featuring a panel of nationally acclaimed women leading the charge to women’s equality and who are successful in achieving work/life balance. Participants can join the live chat with their questions and comments while listening to what today’s busy, working women have to say about the struggle to do it all well while finding a way to “have it all.” The event will be held on August 26 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EDT.

Diane Lore will moderate the live chat to explore women’s work/life balance issues and discuss ways to improve the delicate balancing act that has become the reality for the majority of today’s working women. A wife, mother of three, entrepreneur, and former public relations senior executive, journalist, medical editor, and local political candidate, Lore strives as so many women do to have it all while adapting to a changing environment to meet personal, family, and professional needs.  She has guided the reputations of global brands and led media strategy and digital media at The Haystack Group, GCI Group, Cohn & Wolfe, and Deep South Digital. She is currently a full-time consultant as head of internal communications for Kaiser Permanente.

• Marie Stegner, Consumer Health Advocate for Maidkart: A registered nurse, professional health and wellness manager, and mother of three, Stegner answers the call for more consumer education and advocacy related to the impact of common household chemicals on families’ health and the environment. Stegner is a virtual executive, working flexible hours from home to meet the demands of her various roles as a career woman, wife, mother, and homemaker.

Women’s Equality Day celebrates the achievement of women gaining the right to vote in 1920. Since that time, women have strived for equality throughout society, the workforce, and in their own homes.

“With all of the efforts women have made to pave the way for equal opportunities, it’s crucial for them to also find a sense of balance in both their professional and personal lives,” comments Stegner. “After all, every woman wants to have it all.”
