We often take for granted the most essential things in life. Take air, for example. We breathe air all the time, but we seldom take time to remember and appreciate it. One such thing that’s essential for our existence is keeping our homes and environment clean. Without a clean home, the very air that we breathe can become harmful.
Such is the importance of the work that professional cleaners do for us. Their job is so important to people’s health and happiness. To honor the immense contribution of professional cleaners in ensuring well-being and nation-building, The American House Cleaners Association (AHCA) initiated celebrating September 17th as a special day called National Professional House Cleaners Day.
Although having a single day to celebrate the diligent work and expansive contribution of the workforce is not enough, this special day gives us the much-needed opportunity to cherish the work and sacrifices we often take for granted.
In the same vein, we would also like to pay our gratitude, respect, and admiration for the National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th. The Hispanic or Latino population makes up over 50 percent of all cleaning and maintenance occupations in the US.
These two timely occasions coincide every year, offering a very auspicious time for the professional cleaning industry. On this occasion of National Professional House Cleaners Day and National Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to express all the love, respect, and gratitude that our professional cleaners deserve from the depths of our hearts and beings.
On this occasion, Maidkart would also like to reiterate the promise of relentlessly working for the betterment and growth of every employee and the industry as a whole.
